Important Community Documents

Below are some of the documents that govern the Heritage Walk HOA

Bylaws

The Bylaws govern how the HOA operates and contain the information needed to manage the HOA for the community. The Bylaws cover matters including how often the HOA holds meetings, how the meetings are conducted, the duties of the various offices of the board of directors, how many people are on the board, and membership voting rights, to name a few.

Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs)

The Declaration of CC&Rs is the legal document that lays out the guidelines for the community. The CC&Rs are recorded in the land records in Montgomery County and are legally binding.

Articles of Incorporation

Often called "the articles," these documents set the name of the HOA. This creates the association as a legal entity, and is a necessary prelude to all the other steps when forming an incorporated HOA.

Rules and Regulations for Using the Clubhouse Community Room

These rules and regulations govern the use of the clubhouse community room and have been developed and approved by the Heritage Walk Board of Directors. Their purpose is to assure safe operation and to maximize the enjoyment of the clubhouse by all members of the community. Every resident is requested to read the rules and regulations carefully.
